This isn’t just an expedition-it’s hands-on conservation. You’ll actively contribute to real scientific research for PROCETUS’ long-term cetacean monitoring program. This includes collecting photo-ID images of humpback whales, recording location of every sighting to better understand their distribution and gathering information that will be shared with local stakeholders to improve regional knowledge and responsible wildlife tourism. Your participation directly supports and strengthens this vital research and conservation effort.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Los Cabos airport

Meet your guide upon arrival to the Los Cabos International airport, then transfer to your accommodation to settle in and prepare for the adventure ahead. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at local restaurant. 

Day 2: Ocean day looking for marine life

Enjoy an early breakfast before boarding our expedition boat and heading offshore in search of humpback whales, dolphins, and other marine wildlife. This 4–6 hour marine safari includes lunch served on board, followed by a return to your accommodation. In the afternoon, relax or explore the area at your own pace before ending the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Ocean day

accommodation. The afternoon is free for an optional hike or sightseeing, before gathering for dinner at a local restaurant to share stories and highlights from the day.

Day 4: Last ocean day

Enjoy an early breakfast before your final ocean safari, making the most of your last moments with Cabo’s marine wildlife. Return to your accommodation to relax and unwind, and spend one final evening reflecting on the expedition and the unforgettable encounters at sea.

Day 5: End of trip

Enjoy an early breakfast before the end of trip. Transportation to los Cabos airport.
