Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in La Paz & Travel to Magdalena Bay

Arrive at La Paz International Airport. Begin a scenic four-hour drive across the peninsula to Magdalena Bay Ocean Camp. After settling into your waterfront glamping accommodations, enjoy a welcome dinner and an evening briefing on the Mexican Sardine Run, safety protocols, and the days ahead, before resting up for the adventure.

Day 2: Ocean day looking for marlins and other marine life

After an early breakfast at camp, board our expedition boat and head offshore in search of sardine bait balls, where massive schools of sardines attract many marine species. Once a bait ball is found, gear up for in-water snorkeling encounters during approximately six hours at sea, before returning to camp for a hearty dinner and a relaxing evening around the campfire under a sky full of stars.

Day 3: Ocean day

Enjoy a second day with another opportunity to encounter bait balls and marine predators. The day ends back at camp with dinner and shared stories from the day’s adventures.

Day 4: Last ocean day

After an early breakfast, head out on a final ocean day to make the most of your time with the marine wildlife. Head back to La Paz Airport, marking the end of the trip.
